Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Civil Improvement Plans Kingslane ADA Crosswalks & Lighting Project will be received by the Town of Gardnerville, the Owner, at their office located at 1407 Highway 395, Gardnerville, Nevada, 89410 until 3:00 p.m., local time, on Friday, December 18, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The primary scope of work is to replace existing curb ramps with ADA ramps and associated signage at the Kingslane entrance to Hwy 395. Included with the rehabilitation is installation of 4 new ADA compliant ramps, replacement of approximately 1,300 square feet of sidewalk, approximately 1,400 square feet of AC pavement replacement, 2 new rapid flashing beacons, 6 new street lights, 350 linear feet of curb and gutter replacement, 85 linear feet of 8x3 box culvert, 145 linear feet of masonry wall,114 linear feet of concrete channels and walls, chain link fence removal and replacement, and other miscellaneous components.
Irrigation will commence through the Martin Slough on April 1, 2021. All channel work including installed culverts must be complete and ready to accept irrigation water by this time. Any conflicts due to irrigation season will not be compensated for by the Town. This is a known condition.
